Lynda Perkins

Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC)

I spent a summer, just after college, living with my grandpa George. He was 90 but had the spirit of a 20 year-old. We were two generations, the energy of youth and the wisdom of age, caring for one another. A seed was planted for me that summer, eventually growing into a 20 year career working in the field of geriatrics.

Many of us fear aging and our society often marginalizes the elderly. Over the years I have learned how to navigate the complicated arena of senior-care.  I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with families in an effort to preserve the dignity and quality of life our elderly loved ones deserve.
